Yesterday, I removed the exterior window screens from EZ Snap Direct from one of our south facing windows.

This was done because I wanted to see what the white adhesive anchors looked like on our white window frame, especially after the solar screen was placed back on the window frame.

So, what do these white adhesive anchors look like?

EZ Snap Adhesive Anchors

Well, as you can see from the above picture, they are the same shape and size as the black anchors available from EZ Snap. Also, in the top of this picture you can see the tool provided to remove the male hardware from the white anchors should you need to take the EZ Snap screen off the window to clean or reposition it.

Now, to apply the white anchors onto our metal window frame is the same as when I applied the black adhesive anchors two years ago; that is, simply peal the cover off of the adhesive under side and press firmly onto the window frame. As per the installation instructions received, you need to use at least 15 pounds of force when pressing the anchor hardware onto the window frame. How much is 15 pounds? Well, as I don’t have a device to measure such things, I simply pressed as hard as I could for about a minute or so to be sure. It worked very nicely two years ago with the black colored anchors and should work just as nicely this time with the white anchors.

Pretty easy.

Here is what the window frame looks like with just the white anchors.

EZ Snap White Anchors

Again, some people remove the EZ Snap exterior window screen in the fall and replace it back in the spring. So having white anchors should look more appealing on white window frames when the screen is off. Do they?

Well, the above picture you can see both the 4 white coloured adhesive anchors as well as some of the original black adhesive anchors. the four white EZ Snap Direct anchors are barely noticeable are they in the above picture.
